Law of One 13: Conclusion (Begin and End in the Creator) | Ra Material Explained
Script for upcoming video
Let me ask you a question. Which is more important: metaphysics or the power and the peace of the One Infinite Creator? Ra says, “The space/time and time/space concepts are those concepts describing as mathematically as possible the relationships of your illusion, that which is seen to that which is unseen. These descriptive terms are clumsy. They, however, suffice for this work.” (57.33) On this channel, we’ve talked about the non-terminal domain of time/space and the terminal domain of space/time, but always towards a higher end: through the precision of the CTMU, we can relate the unseen and seen aspects of the reality system. The purpose of this channel, I confess, is not the dissemination of metaphysical truths, important though they are, but to bring people closer to God using logic and to help humankind intelligently organize around love and understanding.
Ra says, “In the experiences of the mystical search for unity, these [domains] need never be considered, for they are but part of an illusory system. The seeker seeks the One. This One is to be sought, as we have said, by the balanced and self-accepting self, aware both of its apparent distortions and its total perfection. Resting in this balanced awareness, the entity then opens the self to the universe which it is. The light energy of all things may then be attracted by this intense seeking, and wherever the inner seeking meets the attracted cosmic prana, realization of the One takes place.” (57.33)
You can find the One in organized religion, in the study of the Torah, the Gospel, or the Quran. Ra says, “the positively oriented Moishe, as this entity was called, gave to your planetary peoples the possibility of a path to the One Infinite Creator which is completely positive… This is in common with each of your orthodox religious systems which have all become somewhat mixed in orientation, yet offer a pure path to the One Creator which is seen by the pure seeker.” (60.18)
As St. Francis of Assisi says, “It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.” Ra likewise notes that the design of the Queen’s chamber in the Great Pyramid of Giza “has to do with the abandoning of self to such desire to know the Creator in full that the purified instreaming light is drawn in balanced fashion through all energy centers, meeting in indigo and opening the gate to intelligent infinity. Thus the entity experiences true life or, as your people call it, resurrection.” (57.24) It is through the aligning of oneself with the energy and spirit of creation that one can participate in the organic evolution of the cosmos and be carried and regenerated by ultimate reality in the true, eternal, infinite life of the Creator. This is the hope and strength of all, that we can unite the world back to the Creator through being students of universal love and paragons of hope, strength, and service to others, opening our hearts in unconditional love to every being within creation. All of creation is the various distortions of movement towards the other in a genuine communion of Love.
When you recognize that in your innermost essence, you are not a material body but an eternal spirit, this truth will enter your heart immediately and clearly. The Ra Material is about the evolution of spirit, at both the individual and cosmic strata. As Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky wrote, “We don't understand that life is heaven, for we have only to understand that and it will at once be fulfilled in all its beauty, we shall embrace each other and weep.”
To close, I will leave you with the key lessons of metaphysics and meta-ethics that the Law of One material teaches:
One: The Archetypal Mind is the Creation.
The world does not consist of transient material or energy at the ultimate level, but rather timeless symbols known as archetypes. Like Plato’s forms, archetypes are eternal ideas in the Mind of God that underlie and generate our collective consciousness. In the Law of One, the ‘Mind of God’ or ‘Cosmic Logos’, meaning the rational order underlying creation, is stratified into sub-Logoi, who share authority with the Logos in the construction and maintenance of the physical universe. Examples of sub-logoi include, for instance, our solar system. So to the question, why do archetypes exist, or how do they encode themselves into the structure of the universe and our consciousness, the answer is that it is the plan of the Sun, our sub-Logos. Examples of archetypal systems are astrology, tarot, and Kabbalah. There’s a sense in which the inner workings of these systems, such as the astrological signs, are the true ‘solar system.’ There’s a common archetypal template, however, to every sub-Logos, despite differences among them.
The general archetypal template is that from the Matrix of the Mind, commonly known as ‘the One’ or the ‘Mind of God’ emerges the Potentiator of the Mind, the Nous as it’s called in Greek Platonism, the light by which the One sees itself. From the Nous emerges the technical definitions, or ‘significators’ of Mind, Body, and Spirit. The emanation from the Potentiator of the Mind defines the Mind-Body-Spirit complex of existence. So next up is the Significator/definition of Mind, the Significator of Body, and the Significator of Spirit. Then, as physical reality emerges from the cosmic Mind, Body, and Spirit emerges the Matrix of the Body, the duality or unrestricted motion of intelligent energy in the universe. This expansive potential is then ordered by the Potentiator of the Body, the regulator of Motion. Once all of the ‘infrastructure’ is in its place, the Spirit, the essence of Creation, can do its work. First comes the Matrix of the Spirit, Deep and Profound Darkness, the primordial chaos and formless void that precedes the physical universe, and then instantly, from amidst the deepest darkness emerges the Potentiator of the Spirit, the Infinite and Expansive Light, the Sudden Awakening, and Illumination/Generativity that creates the universe as we know it. This is the archetypal system of our universe and it is how the One Infinite Creator creates the universe ‘ex nihilo’: out of Nothing.
Ra says, “The archetypes are, first and most profoundly, things in themselves, and the pondering of them and their purest relationships with each other should be the most useful foundation for the study of the archetypical mind.” (78.33)
Begin and end in the Creator.
Two: the Disciplines of the Personality are Paramount.
Ra confirms that “the disciplines of the personality [are] the paramount work of any who have become consciously aware of the process of evolution” (74.10; questioner; Ra confirms “Quite [correct].”) One ought to use their personality crystalization to become a servant of the Creator and then use this pride to draw strength from self-inspiration and build confidence and motivation to continue on the path of service-to-others and service-to-Creator. You must pursue universal love in your mind, wisdom in your body, and freedom in your spirit. Personality crystalization is the essential goal of life, to faithfully reflect the love and light of the One Infinite Creator in your daily life. Ra says “The heart of the discipline of the personality is threefold: One, know yourself. Two, accept yourself. Three, become the Creator. The third step is that step which, when accomplished, renders one the most humble servant of all, transparent in personality and completely able to know and accept other-selves.” (74.11) When one ‘becomes the Creator’, meaning that they recognize their essence in unity, they can then recognize that in truth nothing in the physical world is the entirety of God, only an internal image of Him, and it is in becoming a saintly presence in the world, as opposed to say, a lying sociopath, that we can achieve consistency with God’s grace. This way of living in the world is called ‘the Magical Personality.’
Ra says, “The three aspects of the magical personality—power, love, and wisdom—are so called in order that attention be paid to each aspect in developing the basic tool of the adept: that is, its self.” (75.32) True self-improvement must be in line with the moral and natural law of creation as well as an integrated concept of self. The disciplines of the personality are inextricably tied to the archetypal realities of our sub-Logos: the Magician/matrix of the mind, who is our conscious mind, which must make contact with all of the deeper layers of Mind not normally accessible to us to use and ennoble our minds to make contact with our source and essence in infinity: [show the Tarot cards on screen] the High Priestess/potentiator of the mind (the unconscious), the empress/catalyst of the mind (the unconscious as used or ennobled by consciousness), the emperor/experience of the mind (the catalyst or empress as processed by consciousness, which gives way to experience), the hierophant/significator of the mind (which is simply the definition of Mind, i.e. all of the previous archetypes in a simple unity), the lovers/transformation of the mind (which is our choice, as a fully integrated mind, between light and darkness, and finally the conqueror/chariot: the path, the Way, the Great Way of the Mind, a summary of Archetypes one through six. When all of these mental faculties are fully aligned and distorted towards the service-to-others and service-to-Creator, that is where the magical personality is born.
Then, symbolically, one can enter into a heterosexual, reproductive relationship with another to replicate and select for the greater self-evolution of Logos and ‘create more of positive existence’, this is the purpose of procreation: to enhance and ennoble the human being by the bond of universal love with another for the rearing and education of children. This is why the Logos created two genders. Ra says, “The Wanderers of which we have been speaking were indeed incarnated male and female as this is by far the most efficient system of partnership.” (89.36) The male polarity is the matrix of the Mind and the matrix of the Body and the female polarity is the potentiator of the mind and the potentiator of the body. When these two are joined in a communion of love and shared energy and that love and shared energy is channeled into service-to-Creator, anything is possible. The purpose of bisexual reproduction is the glorification of God. “So God created man in His image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.” (Gen. 1:27)
Begin and end in the Creator.
Three: God is the One Infinite Creator of the One Infinite Creation.
Ra says, responding to a question about the number of previous ‘octaves’, meaning eight-density systems of existence, there were before ours (for reference: our entire universe is one ‘octave’): that “as far as [Ra is] aware we are in an infinite creation. There is no counting.” (82.5) There are infinite cycles of creation as everything emanates from and flows back to the One Infinite Creator. When this happens one time, we call it a universe, like ours which is said to have begun 13.8 billion years ago with a ‘Big Bang.’ As Friedrich Schelling wrote, “From the chalice of this realm of spirits / Foams forth to God His infinitude.” We’ve already discussed how time/space and space/time are emergent from consciousness, but if we live in a truly infinite creation, the Creator would need to be one of infinite intelligence. This is why God is sometimes referred to in the Ra Material as ‘Intelligent Infinity’ which then ‘channels’ itself into physical reality to become ‘Intelligent Energy’, the building block of creation. [Show on screen: r/lawofone - Lmao meme I made]. Where is God in an infinite, timeless creation? He is the source, soul, and center of the Infinite Creation. God is the ‘fountain of living waters’ (Jeremiah 2:13), the plenum from which all else emanates. You see, the ‘living waters’ are intelligent energy, a creative ‘meta-substance’ that faithfully reflects the image of the Creator that randomly bursts forth from the ‘center of infinity’ until it determines its structure, using the universe as the self-simulative scratchpad for the further self-identification of the Creator. Intelligent energy is the canvas for the Creator and the Logos and creation is the self-painting masterpiece of the One Infinite Creator, the fullness of the divine life as made manifest in the process of reality. The entirety of creation is a ‘toast’ to the Creator, for His greater glory and infinity. Creation is the embodiment of the Logos, the Word of God.
This is how creation emerges, not as a logical necessity but as an ethical ‘will to existence’: it would be ethically ‘wrong’, so to speak, for the Creator not to express Himself in this way. Ra says, “This is the plan of the One Infinite Creator. The One Original Thought is the harvest of all previous, if you would use this term, experience of the Creator by the Creator. As It decides to know Itself, It generates Itself into that plenum, full of the glory and the power of the One Infinite Creator, which is manifested to your perceptions as space or outer space.” (82.10)
Begin and end in the Creator.
“We suggest the nature of all manifestation to be illusory and functional only insofar as the entity turns from shape and shadow to the One.” (106.23)
“I am Ra. We leave you, my friends, in the love and the glorious light of the One Infinite Creator. Go forth, then, rejoicing in the power and in the peace of the One Infinite Creator, Adonai.” (106.23)
